A document image order returns a filed document as the Companies Registry holds it: the incorporation form (NNC1), the Certificate of Incorporation, the articles of association, a notice of change of director or secretary (ND2A or ND2B), a change of registered office (NR1), a return of allotment (NSC1), a statement of particulars of a charge (NM1) with its certificate and instrument, a change of name, or any other form on the company's document index. The Registry's Document Index Search lists what has been filed, and its Image Record Search supplies the image of each item.
Lenders order charge documents to see what security a company has given and to whom. Lawyers and liquidators order the articles and the incorporation form. Compliance teams order changes of director to date an appointment, and the Certificate of Incorporation for a file that asks for it. Company secretaries use the full set to rebuild a client's statutory records.
Send the company name or business registration number and the documents you need, by name or from the list in a company particulars report. Each document comes back as a PDF in the same thread, or through the API. If a document is not on the index, the agent says so instead of sending something else.

Questions
How do we know which documents exist?
Order a company particulars search first. Fill Easy's report ends with the Registry's document list for the company, by category, with filing dates and page counts.
Are the images certified?
The standard order is the Registry's uncertified image. Where a certified copy is issued, ask for it and the price and turnaround are confirmed with the order.
Can we order documents for a company that has been dissolved?
Yes, where the Registry still holds the record. The company particulars report shows the status and the date of dissolution.
How are the documents delivered?
As PDFs in the same email thread, one per document as it is ready, or through the API.
