Mainland medical invoice data: Cross-border data
A Mainland medical invoice check confirms a hospital or clinic invoice presented in a cross-border claim against the Mainland invoice record. The invoice number, date, amount and issuer are read from the document the claimant supplied and checked against the record, and the result states for each field whether it matches. The result returns as structured data with a PDF report that can be attached to the claim.
Hong Kong insurers use it in medical and travel claims from policyholders treated on the Mainland, where a forged or altered invoice cannot be detected from the paper. Claims teams run it before payment; fraud teams run it on a sample or on claims above a threshold. The check is a comparison with the record, so the claims assessor keeps the decision.
It runs through the API, so that a claims system can submit the invoice fields or the image and receive the result against the claim number. The data is Mainland personal information and reaches Hong Kong under Fill Easy's filed Standard Contract (Filing No. 202500031).
