A Guernsey register statement identifies directors and leaves current members to the company.
The **Guernsey Registry** shows a company's directors but not its shareholders. Basic details are free on its online portal, and a **Statement of the Register** lists current and previous directors and resident agents with every document filed. The Registry has no current record of shareholders: the last filing to show them was the 2008 annual return. Beneficial owners are held on a separate register that is closed to the public.
Fill Easy can order Guernsey Registry documents by email or through the API as part of its company registry search across 60+ jurisdictions, including the Statement of the Register, certificates of good standing and copies of filed documents. Price and turnaround are confirmed with the order, and every result records the source, the retrieval time and the request ID.
Registry
States of Guernsey
The Guernsey Registry keeps the registers of companies, limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, foundations and charities, and the Register of Beneficial Ownership, under the Companies (Guernsey) Law, 2008 and related laws. Entities and persons file with the Registrar through its online services portal, where the public registers are also published.
Anyone can search the portal without logging in, by name or number. The free profile shows the entity's name, type, registered number, registered office, registration date, status and economic activity code, with tabs for officials and recent events. Directors' details come with a Statement of the Register, which costs £15 as an electronic copy, £50 as a certified electronic copy and £100 as a certified paper copy on the Registry's company fee schedule.

Registered number
A numeric registered number assigned by the Registry on incorporation, shown on the entity profile and on every Statement of the Register and certificate. The portal search accepts the number or at least three characters of the name.
| Document | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Statement of the Register | A certified extract of all publicly available information on the electronic register: registered number, name, registration date, status, registered address, entity type, economic activity, previous names, current and previous directors with service addresses, current and previous resident agents, and the list of filed documents. £15 electronic, £50 certified electronic, £100 certified paper. |
| Certificate of Good Standing | The Registrar's certificate of the company's standing on the register, bought through the online portal. £15 electronic, £50 certified electronic, £100 certified paper. |
| Copy certificates | Copies of the certificate of incorporation, change of name and other certificates the Registry has issued. £15 electronic, £50 certified electronic, £100 certified paper. |
| Memorandum and articles of incorporation | The filed constitution of the company and its amendments, priced per document on the same scale. |
| Copies of other filed documents | Annual validations, changes of director or registered office, and resolution attachments. A resolution form alone gives no detail of the resolution; the attachment does. Annual validation forms filed from 2020 are not available. |
| Entire company file | Every document on the company's file in one order, £100 on the company fee schedule. |
Not at the Registry. The Guernsey Registry has no current shareholder record; the last document to show shareholders was the 2008 annual return. The register of members is kept at the company's registered office, where any person can inspect it or ask for a copy for a prescribed fee.
Yes. The portal profile has an officials tab, and a Statement of the Register lists current and previous directors with their service addresses and appointment dates. It costs £15 as an electronic copy on the Registry's fee schedule.
A certified extract of all publicly available information the Registry holds on an entity: its details, previous names, directors, resident agents and every document filed. It reflects the register at the moment it is produced, so a change not yet notified will not appear.
Only the authorities and obliged entities. A Bailiwick financial services business, lawyer, accountant or estate agent can ask the Registrar through the portal while carrying out customer due diligence, and must not disclose the answer further. There is no public access.
