Indonesia’s AHU profile, NIB and tax number answer different company-check questions.
Indonesian limited liability companies (Perseroan Terbatas, PT) become legal entities when the Minister of Law approves them, and their record is kept by the Directorate General of General Legal Administration (Ditjen AHU) in the AHU Online system. The record holds the capital, shareholders, directors and commissioners as last notified by the company's notary.
Fill Easy returns the AHU company profile and the related documents by email to agent@fill-easy.com or through the REST API. Records are in Indonesian. Every result records the source, the retrieval time and the request ID.

Direktorat Jenderal Administrasi Hukum Umum, Kementerian Hukum
Ministry of Law (Kementerian Hukum), one of the ministries formed when the Ministry of Law and Human Rights was split in 2024
AHU Online is the system through which notaries file the establishment, amendment and dissolution of companies, foundations and associations, and through which the Ministry issues its decrees of approval. The company data available online is the data held under the 2007 Limited Liability Companies Law; older companies that never migrated must be requested manually from the Directorate General.
The public search covers limited liability companies, individual companies, foundations, associations, fiduciary registrations and beneficial ownership filings. Company data is downloaded through the AHU data download service against a non-tax state revenue (PNBP) fee.
Business licensing sits elsewhere: the Online Single Submission (OSS) system issues the business identification number (NIB) and licences, and the tax office issues the NPWP.

Ministerial decree number (SK Kemenkum) and business identification number (NIB)
The Ministry's decree of approval or notification carries a number in the form AHU-0012345.AH.01.01.TAHUN 2020. The NIB issued through OSS is a 13-digit number. Companies also hold a tax number (NPWP): 15 digits until 2024, and from 1 July 2024 a 16-digit format, which for companies is the old number with a zero added in front.
| Document | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Company profile (Profil Perusahaan) | The current AHU record of a PT: name, decree numbers, NPWP, registered address, authorised and paid-up capital, each shareholder with shares held, the board of directors and board of commissioners, and the latest notarial deed on file. |
| Ministerial decree (Surat Keputusan Menteri) | The decree approving the company as a legal entity or approving an amendment to its articles, with the decree number and date. |
| Deed of establishment and articles of association (Akta Pendirian dan Anggaran Dasar) | The notarial deed that founded the company and its articles, with later amendment deeds. The deed is drawn by a notary and is not itself an AHU document; availability is confirmed with the order. |
| Business identification number (Nomor Induk Berusaha, NIB) | The OSS record of the 13-digit NIB, business classification codes (KBLI), risk level and licence status. |
| Beneficial ownership search result | Confirmation from AHU's beneficial ownership (Pemilik Manfaat) search of whether the company has filed its declaration under Presidential Regulation 13 of 2018. |
Search AHU Online by name. A PT that the Minister has approved appears with its decree number. For the current capital, shareholders and officers, order the company profile, which is downloaded from AHU for a PNBP fee.
The decree number is the Ministry of Law's approval of the company as a legal entity. The NIB is the 13-digit business identification number from OSS, which doubles as the company's import and registration identity. The NPWP is the tax number from the Directorate General of Taxes.
