A Seychelles official search shows current director names within a limited public file.
A Seychelles **international business company (IBC)** shows little on the public record. The Registrar at the **Financial Services Authority (FSA)** will issue anyone a certificate of official search giving the company's registration number, registered office, registered agent, status and the names and appointment dates of its current directors. The register of members stays with the registered agent unless the company chooses to file it, and beneficial ownership sits on a database kept by the Financial Intelligence Unit for the authorities.
Fill Easy can order Seychelles IBC documents by email or through the API as part of its company registry search across 60+ jurisdictions, including the certificate of official search, the certificate of good standing and copies of filed documents. Price and turnaround are confirmed with the order, and every result records the source, the retrieval time and the request ID.
Registry
Financial Services Authority (FSA), Seychelles
The FSA registers international business companies, foundations, limited partnerships and trusts, and licenses the international corporate service providers through which every IBC is formed and administered, under the International Business Companies Act 2016. The Registrar keeps the Register of International Business Companies, a Register of Registered Charges and a Register of Disqualification Orders. Domestic companies under the Companies Act 1972 are registered separately with the Registrar General at the Registration Division.
There is no self-service search of live IBCs; the FSA asks for search requests, by company name or number, to be emailed to it, and it publishes a separate search of struck-off IBCs. Under sections 347 to 352 of the Act any person can inspect the Register (US$10) or a company's file (US$10), obtain copies of filed documents (US$25), and request a certificate of good standing (US$25) or a certificate of official search (US$25).

Registration number
The registration number the Registrar assigns on incorporation, continuation or conversion, recorded on the Register of International Business Companies and on every certificate of good standing or official search.
| Document | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Certificate of official search | Under section 352 of the IBC Act: name and registration number, previous names, date of incorporation or continuation, date of any conversion, registered office, registered agent's name and address, the names and appointment dates of current directors, the annual fee due date, status, and the number of outstanding and satisfied registered charges. US$25. |
| Certificate of good standing | Under section 351: that the company is on the Register and has paid all fees and penalties, with statements on any filed merger, consolidation or arrangement, any winding up notice and any strike-off proceedings. Where the company is not in good standing the Registrar issues a certificate of official search instead. US$25. |
| Certificate of incorporation | A certified or uncertified copy of the certificate of incorporation, continuation or conversion, available to any person under section 348. |
| Memorandum and articles | The filed constitution of the company and any amendments, as a copy of a qualifying document (US$25). |
| Register of registered charges | Charges registered against the company with the Registrar, inspected per company for US$10. |
| Filed register of members (where elected) | Under section 349 a company may choose to file its register of members, register of charges or register of beneficial owners with the Registrar. Where it has, that filed copy becomes part of the record; most companies do not file it. |
No. An IBC keeps its register of members at its registered agent and does not have to file it with the Registrar. Unless the company elects to file it under section 349 of the IBC Act, the shareholders are not on the public record and must come from the company or its agent.
Partly. The Register of International Business Companies records the names and appointment dates of the current directors, and they appear on a certificate of official search, which anyone can request for US$25. Addresses and the full filed register of directors are confidential.
For an IBC, email the FSA with the company name or number; it will tell you the fee and process. A certificate of official search (US$25) is the fullest public extract. Fill Easy can order it for you by email or API.
Yes, but it is not public. Each IBC keeps a register of beneficial owners through its resident agent, and the information is uploaded to the Seychelles Beneficial Ownership database maintained by the Financial Intelligence Unit, which the bodies named in the Beneficial Ownership Act 2020 can access.
